Did you know that the guy who founded San Clemente was a former Seattle Mayor? I didn't either until I ran into another Seattle transplant (she grew up in Shoreline) at Kailani's 1st birthday party on Sunday. Check out the link for more information on Ole Hansen. Einar took his swim lessons at the Ole Hansen Beach Club which is our community swimming pool.
Here are some great pictures from the party as well. The little ones shared a small birthday cake. The birthday girl is the one with the frosting in her hair.
